Booking Terms & Weather Policy
Portraits Under the Stars

All bookings are made online via the Check Availability button on the Portraits Under the Stars page. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Full payment of A$1,500 is required at the time of booking. This ensures your portrait session date is exclusively reserved for you. Payment is accepted via the secure online booking system.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to hb@hughbrown.com

• More than 30 days prior to your session — full refund minus a A$150 administration fee.
• Between 15 and 30 days prior to your session — 50% refund of the total session fee.
• Less than 15 days prior to your session — no refund will be issued.

One complimentary reschedule is available if requested more than 15 days prior to your session. Rescheduling requests made within 15 days of the session will be treated as a cancellation and the above cancellation policy will apply.

The Broome night sky is one of the clearest and most spectacular in the world. However occasionally the weather does not cooperate and the safety and experience of my clients is always my highest priority.

If conditions are deemed unsuitable for your session I will contact you as early as possible — ideally the day before your session — to discuss your options. Conditions that may result in a cancellation include but are not limited to heavy cloud cover, rain, high winds, or any other conditions that would compromise the quality of your experience or your safety.

In the event of a weather cancellation you may:

• Reschedule to another available date at no additional cost, or
• Receive a full refund of all monies paid less a A$150 administration fee.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your session for reasons other than weather, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. I will make every effort to offer you an alternative date if that is your preference.

All approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the cancellation request being confirmed. Refunds will be returned via the original payment method.

Your session fee of A$1,500 includes:

• Transport to and from your pickup location in Broome.
• Wine and nibblies during the session.
• Insect repellent.
• Your full portrait session at dusk and under the night sky.
• Post-processing and editing of your portrait.
• One large format 90cm x 60cm fine art archival print.
• A high resolution digital file of your portrait.

Your portrait will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session. Every portrait is personally reviewed and approved by me before it goes to print. Alternative print sizes and acrylic face mount options are available on request. All prints are supplied unframed.

To ensure the best possible experience and results please:

• Advise me of any mobility or health concerns before booking.
• Follow clothing and colour guidance provided prior to your session.
• Arrive at your agreed pickup location on time - this is critical as every minute counts in the period before sunset.
• Advise me of any dietary requirements or alcohol restrictions prior to your session.
