Hugh Brown
30 Years Living a Landscape

I have been roaming the Kimberley and Pilbara by 4WD, foot, helicopter, fixed wing, floatplane, boat and quadbike — across every season, in every light — for almost three decades.

I have published seven large format books on these two regions.

National Geographic has trusted my knowledge of this country.

I know where the light falls, where the access is, where the permits are needed and where the extraordinary is hiding in plain sight.

If you are looking for locations in two of the world's most visually powerful and logistically demanding landscapes, I can find them for you.

Unless you're looking for icebergs...

My name is Hugh Brown and I have been photographing the Kimberley and Pilbara's most remote places for almost 30 years.

I have worked in some of the most remote parts of the world...

The Siberian sub-Arctic in winter, an active volcano, the Bolivian Andes, the Karakorum Range of Northern Pakistan and the jungles of Central Africa.

Finding spectacular places to shoot is my passion. And I can help you do that here.

I have published nine best selling coffee table books and for much of the past 20 years have been working on projects in some of the world's most difficult and remote places. I have worked in over 30 countries.

I have held major photographic exhibitions in China (Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo) and Africa.

The Kimberley is my home and passion. Which is why my last book on the region was called The Kimberley - Tierra De Mi Alma - Land of My Soul.
